The first and most important thing at Sandpipers is that you are ready to shed your clothes and your cares, meet new friends, kick back and enjoy life, because that’s what we do here. You’ll find some of the friendliest people around and soon you’ll understand why we consider each other family and welcome new members. (OK, sometimes you may think we’re a dysfunctional family – but isn’t every family – and we’re family just the same.)
Sandpipers Resort is an AANR-affiliated nudist community and we adhere to their behavioral policies. However, we are unique in that most of our guests call this their home, whether for the winter season or year around. Consequently, we are not prepared for day visitors or drop-in guests without prior arrangements. So give us a call, or drop us an email in advance and we will look forward to making your visit enjoyable.
Our “rules” are pretty much the same as any other resort. In other words, use common sense. Since our guests seem to have an abundance of common sense we won’t go into detail other than to say quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am except for special resort functions; pets must by on a leash and you must pick up after them; no open fires; no offensive or illegal behavior; no beverages in glass containers, food, smoking or radios in the pool area; children under age 16 must be supervised by an adult and all the rest of that stuff that you read on every campground brochure.
Some things that are more specific to a nudist resort include no cameras in the public areas unless approved by management; no overt sexual contact in public; before entering the pool or hot tub shed any swimsuits or clothing and shower with soap; and always remember to sit or lie on a towel when nude.
So come, relax and enjoy your time at Sandpipers.
